The Cuervo x Fender Agave Stratocaster

Cuervo is famous for pushing the boundaries of what this amazing plant can do – from sustainable agave car parts to 100% agave surfboards. So, it’s only fitting that we partnered with Fender® –one of the world’s most legendary and innovative instrument brands– to create the world’s first Agave Stratocaster®, an instrument that features a pure agave body, created by Paul Waller and Gary Linden.

Agave Bar made by Jose Cuervo Tradicional Cristalino

Tequila Tradicional Cristalino presented the fourth edition of Akamba, the most important gastronomic and artistic festival in Tequila. This event celebrated the connection between the land, art, local traditions, and the four elements of nature.

During the festival, attendees were able to enjoy the best cocktails at the agave bar created by Tequila Tradicional Cristalino, the first of its kind worldwide, which seeks to give a second use to the agave planted in our fields.

100% Agave Sustainable Housing

This project was started to find innovative solutions to address a housing problem experienced by vulnerable inhabitants in rural areas. Sustainable housing is created by reusing, repurposing, and recycling existing materials and products coming from our tequila production, helping create a circular economy.

The Agave Project

The Agave Project is our way of continuing Cuervo’s long-standing commitment to the land and people of Tequila and Mexico. Jose Cuervo Agave Straws are our most recent effort to proudly support the Agave Project’s commitment to sustainability. The first-of-its-kind, biodegradable, bio-based drinking straw is a more sustainable alternative to regular plastic straws and will decompose up to 200 times faster.
